# ONLINESVR

> ONLINESVR is a marketplace of ready-to-run tools for AI that automate digital work. Published _Capabilities_ run OCR, media generation, document conversion, device control, model chat, and more. Capabilities are published on ONLINESVR Store; the platform manages discovery, execution, billing, and distribution.

AI agents reach ONLINESVR in two primary ways. An interactive agent connects the MCP server at https://mcp.onlinesvr.com with an API Key (`Authorization: Bearer …`). Code that outlives the session — a server, a scheduled job, a product feature — uses the REST API at https://api.onlinesvr.com with the same API Key. The quickstart at https://onlinesvr.com/agents.md walks through both.

**Important notes:**

- Creating an account is free and requires no credit card on the free plan. Generate an API Key in Console before calling Capabilities.
- A Capability is not an AI agent. It is a packaged runnable unit that takes structured input, runs on ONLINESVR infrastructure, and returns structured output or artifacts. On ONLINESVR, "Capability" always means this and is capitalized when naming the product concept.
- ONLINESVR Store is a marketplace of published Capabilities. Each Capability has its own owner, pricing model, and description.
- `tools/list` on MCP can discover published tools without a key. `tools/call` requires a Bearer API Key with grants and quota.
